(More customer reviews)I saw the box for this on a shelf a few weeks ago and suddenly realized how long it had been since I'd played Tetris. I didn't even have any Tetris variants on my current PC. Playing this is like being reunited with an old friend.
There's a cool feature that allows you to use any mp3 you have on your system as background music during the game. The default music is pretty dull, but I've now got my own personalized Tetris soundtrack by Prodigy, They Might Be Giants and Bj?rk.
I can't see buying this package if you've already got a different version of Tetris that you regularly play. The elemental variant games are interesting (I actually really like the Fire and Wind games) but not that different from classic Tetris (which is good - why mess with a good thing, eh?). If, like, until recently, me, you don't have Tetris at all anymore, this is a reasonable way to reacquaint yourself with it.
