(More customer reviews)The Atari Jaguar system came out around 1993. The system was a nice size and had controllers that could adapt well to the varied play styles of its fair assortment of games, which did have sweet graphics. Many want to compare this system to the Nintendo 64 because it had 64-bit graphics as well. Of the two, the N64's graphics are much better, but many fail to see that the N64 came out 3 years later! In its time, the Jaguar had superior graphics, but in 3 years many new advancements in technology were made. So overall, if you like retro games or are a collector, this system is a great buy. We should rate a system by its graphics and fun compared to its competition at the time, not to the N64, for which the Jaguar was a worthy precursor.
