(More customer reviews)I've consistently played video games for decades now and I can't think of a single game quite like this one.It is epic in size and scope, pokes fun at itself from time to time, and is just a ton of fun to play.I sold all my games awhile back but letting this one go was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.I'm hoping they'll re-release it as a download on wii or something, but if that doesn't happen in a few years I may consider buying it (as much as it sounds crazy to buy a system from the 90's and a 16 for over $100).

Product Description:
The Earth is under attack by a strange group of aliens known as Giygas, and only a young boy and his friends have the power to save the planet. Unlike more traditional RPGs, EARTHBOUND actually takes place in a modern-day suburb featuring all kinds of wacky twists and turns. You're Ness, and along with your pals Paula, Jeff, and Poo you've got to hunt down the aliens sending them back to where they came. Armed with a baseball bat and psychic powers, your party must hit the road in search of the extraterrestrial scum. Along the way, you'll encounter all kinds of weird characters who will give you high-tech gadgets, time machines, and other items you'll need to prevail. The fate of the world is in your hands!
