I had foot surgery a year ago and I am just now getting back to the point of being able to strength train and do some physical therapy .. and the Wii Fit Plus is an *outstanding* companion. The exercises are clear, fun, and help you achieve good balance, posture, and breathing while providing a decent aerobic workout to boot (no pun intended). The Wii Fit Plus is terrific for its additional games/challenge, which include a wide variety of activities ranging from balance and coordination all the way up to sweat-breaking "play." It has definitively improved my balance and recovery for the foot that had the surgery and the supporting muscles in the ankles and legs. I *highly* recommend this for all ages! My buddy's kids love it, and he is happy that his kids aren't veg'ing out on the couch just exercising their thumbs.
