(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these modems and Comcast would not allow me to use it with their digital voice service. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, but again was told by the vice president of the digital voice division that it cannot be used even though they installed the same modem for me to use their service.
Comcast is working with Motorola to come out with self install kits so you cannot use your own EMTA unit until that process is completed.
