The best WW2 tactical pc simulation series out there.If you're not familiar with Combat Mission, the game system pauses play during the orders phase beginning each turn.The pc then calculates and shows a minute's worth of action, which you can watch as many times as you wish before proceeding to the next orders phase.Much more relaxing and satisfying than the frantic clickfest realtime games.This is the pc game for anyone who enjoys the Advanced Squad Leader boardgame but doesn't want to deal with the mind-boggling detail of ASL rules and numbers-crunching.
Package includes 4 discs.3 contain the Special Edition versions (meaning added scenarios) of the 3 games in the CM series (Beyond Overlord, Barbarossa to Berlin, and Afrika Korps) with pdf file of relevant game manual on each disc.The fourth disc contains graphics mod files for Barbarossa, with installation instructions (various vehicle paint schemes, unit uniforms, and more detailed terrain).The Beyond Overlord game disc also contains graphics mod files, and both the Beyond Overlord and Barbarossa mod discs contain links to more online mods and scenarios for all 3 games.
Overall, an excellent game series at an unbeatable price.
