(More customer reviews)I needed a USB wifi adapter so that i could easily remote an antenna outside. this device comes with a long usb cable that allows you to remote the antenna a good distance from your computer. the receiver is very sensitive and while i could not measure the power output it is probably as advertised. what is not clear from the picture is that an antenna is not included. there is a UHF connector on the top where you will need to couple an antenna. however when matched to any decent antenna the unit does a great job of pulling in distant access points. the software is also very flexible with lots of options. if i actually used it for its advertised purpose i might consider repackaging the actual adapter that takes up a small volume of the weatherproof enclosure.
